On his nationally syndicated radio talk show Monday, host Mark Levin blasted Republicans on the budget, asking his audience bluntly, “Now folks, is conservatism dead?”
“Now folks, is conservatism dead?” asked Mark Levin.
A bit later in his show, Levin continued, “I think some of our brothers and sisters, who are in front of cameras and behind microphones, have surrendered, which is really quite shocking to me. The laws of economics don’t change. I don’t care who the politicians are.”
Mark Levin’s comments came after the Republican-led House and Senate passed and President Donald Trump signed, in Levin’s words, the “swampiest of the swamp budgets that I have ever seen” to end another government shutdown nearly a week ago and after the unveiling of the White House’s fiscal year 2019 budget proposal to Congress on Monday that never balances.
